29 March 2005 (yesterday) (tomorrow)

Last night was bloody awful, and I reacted badly to some criticism from Jason, but today was beautiful.   Nice weather, peaceful thoughts.

I woke up at a reasonable hour, took a walk, and realized that I had lost my ATM card.  I went to the Washington Mututal across the street from Robin Des Bois on the off chance that I had allowed the machine to absorb my card, and lo and behold!  They had it.  I walked down to the antique store on the corner and bought two chairs.  I also took a look at Brooklyn Netsellers, a new business on the street where they sell your stuff for you on Ebay for a commission.  I bought razors.  Then I got a Mate Latte from Gabriel and an orange meringue for Bob.  The Mate Latte was good.  The razors, sadly, are blunt.

I wrote a long e-mail to Steiner, replying to his generous comments on the "Lancelot Loves You" C.D.  I chatted to Bob as I was writing it.  The power went out twice, but Microsoft Entourage saved my e-mail.  I declared to Rich that Entourage was designed in Heaven.

The ulcer still nags, but only nags.  I had some really delicious sashimi from the place downstairs, along with a paper container of Miso soup.  Dave seems fine; he mentioned an article in New York magazine about arranged marriages.  I really should clip it and give it to Tejal and James.  I think they're staying the night again tonight...
