Scarlett left for China today.  She had left me three e-mails about what I was supposed to do so she encouraged me to just get back into bed.

James showed up in class and gave a mini-lecture.  Class was disorganized, and it turned out I had to print out a bunch of pieces for the student show, but we got it together and ate some pizza.  'Jim' and I had a good chat on the way home.

At work, Merrie called and was very sweet, and later Guin called.  I was curt with Guin after her recent nonsense.  I don't know what the right course of action is here-- if I tell her flat out that seeing her or even talking to her makes me crazy, she'll bully me out of it.  If, on the other hand, I simply lie to her and say that I can't come to Sausalito because of work, then I'll torment myself later on wondering whether I should have just told the truth.
