17 June 2005 (yesterday) (tomorrow)

Went to the IFC Center to meet up with Melinda.  As I walked out of the 4th street stop, I noticed a giant inflatable rat on the street.  I recognized the design from Chicago-- someone was picketing something.  When I walked up to the IFC Center I realized it was union projectionists, local 306, picketing the theater.  Melinda was lost anyway so I had a cup of coffee in the Washington Square diner and then we wandered around a bit, until we decided to just sit down and have dinner at the Aqua Grill across the street from where I work.  It was actually a very nice view; I got to see the building I work in for the first time.

Melinda came up and looked around and seemed impressed; Post Factory does have a lovely view and I'll miss working there.
