I sent out the following e-mail:

RE: OMFs

I think the grouped clips are making the files too

large, so I am splitting each OMF into different

tracks.  I'm also reducing the handles to 30 frames.

This is time consuming but it is the only way to spit

out these OMFs.  (Take a look at the projects for

Episodes 07 & 08 for a glimpse of the hours of trial &

error I went through tonight).

Splitting up the tracks resulted in the successful

OMF'ing of episodes 07 & 08, which are now in in the

Cash Cab server (the OMFs folder).  You can retrieve

them from any computer that has access to the Cash Cab

server.  (I noticed that N13's Avid doesn't have the

Cash Cab server mapped-- this needs to be fixed.)

The reason the OMFs are not on Firewire Drive #1 is

that Firewire Drive #1 is missing its 6-6 pin cable.

Please keep cables & drives together.

Picture reference DVs from Episodes 7 & 8 are on

John's desk.  We seem to be running low on blank DV

stock.

I would like an extra mousepad for room N2A's office

computer.
