Lisa,

Just checking in like you requested.

While preparing for bed last night, I searched for the appointment slip with my psychiatrist at St. Vincent's, and realized that it was nowhere to be found. The slip had the name of my psychiatrist, the building and room number where they were to be found, and the contact information for the clinic.

I was able to find none of this information on my computer. There might have been a phone number on my cellphone, but as you know it has died.

Unable to think of a solution to this probU., I simply slept in this morning and missed my psychiatrist's appointment. I was pretty unhappy about that, as you can imagine. I guess I'll have to go into St. Vincent's at some point and beg for a new appointment.

Today when I went downstairs, Louis, the old man who lives beneath my bedroom, ribbed me for waking up so late in the day. I hunched my shoulders and put up with him in an aw-shucks way like I always do.

I had coffee and thai food for lunch, and came back home to mess around on my computer. I had arranged to go to the Museum of Modern Art this afternoon but I don't know if I'm going to make it out of the apartment.

That's about it,

U.
